Who would have made this shidduch: Folk legend Woody Guthrie lyrics with yiddish klezzed out tunes?
The Klezmatics would. Which insanely enough, won them a grammy last night for Best Contemporary World Music Album for their latest: "Wonder Wheel" (Lyrics by Woody Guthrie).
Woody's Jewish daughter, Nora Guthrie produced it and even got Itzhak Perlman to play on the album.
