Holy Holidays Batman!
If you are planning on being on the holy Upper West Side of Manhattan for the High Holidays you should think about where you are going to repent/daven/space out.
Why do they charge for seats? While no orthodox shul on earth would deny someone for not having reserved a seat, you get 2 of 3 key points scored (teffillah, tzedekah) by buying an actual seat ticket to daven — which is a quick way to get a great front row seat in the book of life.
So get into the game and join in supporting a shul: bangitouters give back! Some shuls are willing to make deals if you are just going to be around for Yom Kippur and not Rosh Hashana. Give them a call, but do it soon.
