The Daily Beast published the 30 most Jewish Cities for Hanukah – they did it based upon:

% of Jewish population,  Synagogues per capita (rank) and Kosher restaurant count  (not exactly a science, considering they used Shamash.org as the source – which could use some updating! 47 Kosher restaurants in Philly?? not a chance.)

More importantly they did a similar survey of 30 Most Muslim Cities  (based upon Estimated Muslim Population, Total Mosques and Total Hallal Restaurants (haha)  check it here  (top ten muslim:  Detroit, Washington DC, Cedar Rapids Iowa, Philly, NYC, Atlanta, Peoria IL, San Fran and Houston)

Here are the top 10 Jewish Cities , but it pays to check out the other 20 kinda surprising!
