The Bangitout.com Purim Shpiel was put on for Purim 2003 in the 34th Street Jewish Center

Yes this is a costume, and yes I am on my 10th beer,

But today is a day that is celebrated by all,

Please note: If you have to throw-up, the stalls are down the hall

One day a year we party like no one has ever seen,

No tricker treating!,

it's not Halloween!

We celebrate a holiday that goes masked in disguise

A holiday where costume & drinking heavily certainly applies

It has love, and heartbreak like Elvis and Prescilla,

Even fools rush in to read this wacky Megillah

But if you think its not for you, I think you are wrong,

Its got more twists and shouts than a classic Beatles song,

 

But from the real version of the story, I think I may veer,

In this Chelsea Purim version, Hayman is, um, dare I say, a bit Queer?

So without further ado, to Shushan we go,

so sit back relax, and enjoy this gay, I mean happy show!
